Duels start at 5 KOIN ($0.50) a side if you want stakes on the line — the winner takes the pool minus a 5% platform fee, and draws return both sides' entries. Every duel also counts toward the weekly Chess tournament.

Every completed PvP match during the week earns points. A wagered match is worth its wager amount in points; a free match is worth 1 point. That amount doubles during bonus hours. The winner earns the full amount and the loser earns half; a draw splits it evenly between both players. For example, a 20 KOIN ($2) match awards the winner 20 points and the loser 10, or 10 each on a draw — doubled to 40/20, or 20/20 on a draw, during bonus hours. Only your first five matches against the same opponent count toward your score.
